Jeff took great care of us from beginning to end. He got us in quickly and gave us a fair estimate to fix our differential. He was very cooperative even though we were just a first time customer. He knew we needed our vehicle for vacation and therefore went above and beyond to get the parts in time. A few days after the repair he followed up to make sure everything is running smoothly. Highly recommend! We will come back for sure.
Took my car in to have inspected for a potential transmission fluid leak. Dropped off at 8:00 am and by 3:30 pm I had not heard anything so I decided to call. I spoke with Jeff who informed me that the transmission tech had called in sick and therefore my car hadn’t been looked at. The fact that my car sat in the shop for over 8 hours without anyone calling to update me was disappointing. I’m also not sure how a “transmission specialists” shop only counts on one transmission tech. I was extremely turned off by the poor customer service that after my call I arranged a ride to go pick up my car. While I waited for my ride, the shop called back and informed me that someone had looked at my car and they had a diagnosis. I’m not sure why that hadn’t been done earlier or if the person who checked my car was even qualified to do so given that the initial response was there was no transmission tech there to inspect my car. It is understandable that unexpected things come up, but the lack of communication demonstrated poor attention to customer service on their behalf. I definitely would expect better service and a repair estimate (which I did not receive) for a $129 diagnostic fee. Would not recommend.
We've been going to Pro Trans since Mike, the owner, was working on vehicles himself. I think he started Pro Trans just a little while before we started going to him. Over 20 years I believe. We had the turn signal lever replaced on our 2005 Ford F150 Fx4 truck and it only took them a few hours to get to it fixed. As always the work and cost was very reasonable. And our truck isn't exactly easy to work on with a 6 inch lift kit! Thank you Mike and crew for taking good care of another one of our trucks.
